📍 Location: CKE Community Centre – 1015 73rd Ave SW, Calgary
💲 Cost: $10 per child (ages 6–12)
👨‍👩‍👧 Parents attend FREE
Event Schedule
  • 8:45 AM – Check-in
  • Session 1 (9:00–9:45)
    ➡ Cooking or Cheerleading
  • Session 2 (9:50–10:30)
    ➡ Cooking or Dance
    (Kids who choose Cheer first will do Cooking next. Kids who choose Dance will do Cooking first.)
  • 10:30–10:50 – Enjoy the snack made in Cooking class
  • Session 3 (10:50–11:30)
    ➡ Art or Science (child chooses during follow-up form)
  • 11:45 AM – Pick-up
Parent Sessions
While kids rotate through activities, parents can:
✅ Participate in an art class
✅ Join an optional session with Julie Freeman-Smith
✅ Enjoy time to connect and socialize

  • Registration closes Friday, January 23, 2026.
  • Non-refundable after January 16, 2026.
  • Space is limited – register early!
Next Step After Registration
Once you register, you’ll receive an email with a Microsoft Form to:
✔ Choose your child’s sessions (Cheer or Dance, and Art or Science)
✔ Tell us about any allergies or dietary restrictions
✔ Share any accessibility needs

  • What to bring: Comfortable clothes for movement, water bottle, and a smile!
  • Parking: CKE parking is limited, but street parking is available nearby.
