🥗 Cooking with a Friend – Monday, May 25

Dolmades with Greek Salad
(Hands‑on cooking class, 6:00–8:00 pm)

Cost: $10 per participant (registration is per person)


In this vibrant, Mediterranean‑inspired class, participants will learn to carefully roll tender grape leaves around a fragrant rice and herb filling to make homemade dolmades, while also preparing a fresh Greek salad with crisp vegetables and a tangy dressing — all while cooking alongside a friend.

This class focuses on:

  • Knife safety and vegetable prep
  • Rolling and stuffing techniques
  • Herb chopping and flavour balancing
  • Beautiful plating and presentation

Important registration note:
Although this class is called Cooking with a Friend, each participant must be registered individually. Participants are welcome to attend alongside a friend, but registration and pricing are per person.

Dietary note:
This class is gluten‑free.

All classes are led by Sydney Weipert, Jamie Gervais, and Sara Waqas, experienced instructors with strong backgrounds in culinary education and supporting individuals with Down syndrome.
