🌞 Family Swim Day – Summer 2025 🌊
We’re thrilled to bring back Family Swim Day this summer! Join us for an afternoon of fun in the sun on Saturday, July 26th from 3:00 to 4:45 PM at the Stanley Park Outdoor Pool (4011 1A St SW).
This event is open to members of all ages and their families. Whether you’re splashing with little ones or swimming laps, there’s something for everyone:
🏊♀️ Pool Features:
- Main Pool: 25 meters long with 8 lanes, 1.0–1.8 meters deep, and a 1.8-meter high water slide.
- Splash Basin: Wading pool with zero-depth entry, max depth of 0.6 meters, plus a spray ring and floor nozzles—perfect for young children!
🛠️ Facility Amenities:
- Heated, filtered, and sanitized pools (24/7)
- Change rooms with temperature-controlled showers
- Coin-operated lockers (bring a quarter or your own lock)
- Bathrooms and a concession stand with snacks and drinks
- Fully supervised by qualified lifeguards

🔔 Important Notes:
- Support Persons: If you’re bringing a support person, aide, or worker, please let us know during registration. They attend for free, but we must notify the pool in advance to ensure proper accommodations.
- Spots are limited and this event typically sells out! If you register and can no longer attend, please let us know so we can offer your spot to another family.
- What to Bring: Swimsuits, towels, sunscreen, water bottles, and a quarter or lock for lockers.
- Accessibility: The facility includes accessible change rooms and washrooms.
- Weather: This is an outdoor event and will proceed rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe. We’ll notify you of any changes.
