Join Blissful Dance as we play with the exciting rhythms and movements of Jazz dance, and add costumes to create a fun, theatrical experience!
Throughout the session, we will use a variety of games, activities, and dance combinations to learn about Jazz dance in fun ways that emphasize accessibility. By using costume pieces with our movements, we can find ways to feel the dance style through multiple senses AND create characters along the way.
Come play with Jazz, costume, and character in ways that feel great in YOUR body!
Participants can bring different costume pieces for certain weeks (for example, bring a scarf or flowy fabric one week – we will let you know ahead of time), and/or can use those brought by the instructor.
* This is a 4-week workshop and it will be in-person at the St Andrews Church.
