Ups and Downs is thrilled to invite you to our annual End of Year Gala!
Join us on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the beautiful Safari Lodge & Foyer at the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo for an evening of celebration, dinner, and dancing with friends and family of all ages.
🕔 Event Time: 5:30 PM – 11:00 PM
🐾 Afternoon Zoo Access
Guests are welcome to visit the zoo earlier in the day before the gala begins.
We apologize for any earlier confusion—ZooLights does not begin until November 14 and will not be part of this event.
Ticket Pricing:
Ages 12+: $25
Ages 3–11: $15
Ages 0–2: Free (please let us know if they’re attending)
🍽️ Dinner Details
Dinner will be served buffet-style, with gluten-free and vegetarian options available. We’ll also accommodate dietary restrictions—please share any needs during registration.
🚗 Parking
Please note that the Calgary Zoo offers paid parking only. The North Lot charges a flat rate of $13 per day through ParkPlus123.

In keeping with our mission to celebrate and enrich the lives of individuals with Down syndrome, this is an alcohol-free event to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
This is a celebration of our community—come as you are! Whether you love dressing up or prefer to keep it casual, you’re welcome.
